Exmoor Cliff Retreat is an adults-only property, and breakfast reflects this.

There are no queues, no buffet stations, and no flexible or drop-in dining.

Instead, breakfast is served in a relaxed, structured setting with attentive service throughout.

Breakfast Service - Important Information

To maintain quality, consistency, and a calm atmosphere for all guests, breakfast is served at fixed times only:

8:00am • 8:20am • 8:45am

These are the only sittings available, and your time will be confirmed on arrival.

We do not offer:

late breakfast sittings
flexible dining times
buffet-style service
room service or all-day dining

Porridge

Made in the traditional way with water or milk. Add a topping of your choice; fresh fruit from the honey, cream or maple syrup.

Traditional English breakfast

Any combination of grilled bacon (regular or crispy), West Country sausage, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, hash brown, baked beans and eggs – fried, scrambled or poached.

Vegetarian Breakfast

Any combination of grilled vegetarian sausage, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, hash brown and eggs – fried, scrambled or poached.

Bacon, Egg or Bacon & Egg Sandwich

Two pieces of grilled bacon with or without a fried egg on brown or white bread.

Eggs Benedict

Grilled bacon on a toasted white muffin with poached or scrambled eggs with or without Hollandaise sauce.

Eggs Royale

Smoked salmon on a toasted white muffin with poached or scrambled eggs with or without Hollandaise sauce.

Pancakes & Bacon

With crispy grilled bacon and maple syrup.

Pancakes & Berries

With organic maple syrup and fresh berries.

For cereal enthusiasts, we offer Free-from Granola and Nestlé Cornflakes.
